Just recently, Madonna’s family got slightly bigger.
The Queen of Pop just adopted twin girls from Malawi whom she named Esther and Stella.
A source revealed that life has been quite well for Madonna. “She is beyond happy about her children. It was an extremely long process, but Madonna is thrilled it’s complete,” the informer said.
Although Madonna has been busy in recent times, she embraces the hectic schedule. The source added, “She loves being a mom, fashion icon and performer. Madonna believes in adoption and if she had more time she would have many more children. She can’t wait to be their mother and help them grow into strong, intelligent children.”
The 58 year-old singer took to Instagram to tell her followers that she was overwhelmed. Indeed, she was thrilled to announce her daughters’ adoption. “I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family,” posted Madonna.
The songstress continued, “I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible, and I ask the media please to respect our privacy during this transitional time. Thank you also to my friends, family and my very large team for all your support and love!”
Reports said, Madonna’s older children already have a strong connection with their new siblings, Stella and Esther.
“They are now part of our family,” the pop icon wrote. Madonna’s family includes Lourdes, 20, with her ex Carlos Leon, Rocco, 16, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and 11 year-olds Mercy and David, who were also adopted from Malawi in 2006 and 2009, respectively.
In addition to her new kids, Madonna is attending to her own health. On Tuesday, she posted a video of herself on Instagram. She was apparently sick in bed. She wished her fans a Happy Valentine’s Day thru a song to the tune of Happy Birthday.
